St. Bernard Parish President Craig Taffaro teaches first grade

President was bought at an auction to benefit school

 

St. Bernard Parish President Craig Taffaro, who is a former high school
teacher and administrator, taught the first graders in Charol Armand's class
at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Chalmette after Armand bought his services
at an auction to benefit the school. Taffaro took a count for hot lunch,
taught reading and math and worked on Christmas crafts with the students who
enjoyed the day.
