our government is already monitoring citizens who blog.  levees.org is one
example that comes to mind

thank God for free speech
.
our media may not be state controlled, but it is controlled.  blogs have
helped with freedom of information and exchange of opinions where the
newspapers wont.

some do intentionally use inaccurate information to deliberately harm
reputations, however, those more powerful deliberately keep information from
the people
.
can you imagine, our local council government using their power to deem
certain subjects sensitive and banning all public discussion or access to
information on the subjects of their choice?

inaccurate information stems from difficulty in obtaining the public
information
