also had very bad service, even when ordering their king cake ahead of time.
the product was never bad - just the store's attitude.  would like to
support local businesses, so would have to ask, where do the store owners

I'm so tired of the Randazzo's and King Cakes.

Yes, they are good.  However I've never been **that** big a fan of theirs
over others; it just seemed like a big heavily iced cinnamon roll.  And I
really, really hated the attitude of some of the folks at the place in
Violet.  It seemed as if you were supposed to genuflect before the picture
of the patriarch of the clan.  Or, act as if you were dealing with the Soup
Nazi from Seinfeld.

I stopped there one time to see about picking up a king cake just to bring
into work the next day.  I asked what they had.  The girl at the counter
said "This is the Thursday before Mardi Gras!"  I said "Yeah, it's
**before** Mardi Gras, okay thanks."   I just went up to Chalmette and
picked one up from McKenzies.
