Each January, the men and women of 1815 return to Chalmette Battlefield, the
site of the Battle of N.O. where history comes alive with living history,
American and British encampments, cannon and musket firings, cooking
demonstrations and lantern tours. January 8th - Wreath Laying 10:00 a.m.;
January 9, 7:00 p.m. Reenactment Pakenham Oaks; January 9 & 10 - Living
History 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; January 10 - Lantern Tour, (ticketed event -
$5.00) first ninety minute tour begins 5:45 p.m. Latern Tour tickets go on
sale December 1st at the Chalmette Battlefield Visitor Center or call
