Organizations are needed to sign on to the Gulf Coast Civic Works Campaign's
letters to President Elect Barack Obama, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi
and Majority Leader Reid about passing an Executive Order and necessary
appropriations in the upcoming stimulus legislation to enact Gulf Coast
Civic Works. The deadline is today - January 7, 2009 at 5pm.

School Readiness Tax Credits


School Readiness Tax Credits are a package of tax credits that support the
development of quality child care. Credits are available to parents, child
care centers, child care workers, and businesses. Parents can increase the
value of their existing child care tax credit by sending their child to a
center that has achieved two or more stars on the state's Quality Start
rating system.
