Dark Knight comes to St. Bernard on the big screen

St. Bernard Parish Government is beginning 2009 with a variety of events
for middle school and high school-aged youth. The first event will be a
high school Movie Night featuring the 'Dark Knight.' It will be hosted
Friday, Jan. 16 in the Grand Ballroom at the Civic Center, 8245 W. Judge
Perez Drive in Chalmette. The doors will open at 7 p.m. and the movie
will run from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is $2 per student and
concessions will be available. Door prizes will be given during the
event.

This is a high school only event and a school ID or verification of age
or grade is needed. A waiver form will also need to be turned in upon
entrance. Waiver forms can be found online at www.sbpg.net
<http://www.sbpg.net/> under the Recreation Department or in the office
of Chalmette High School and C.F. Rowley Alternative School. Waivers
are valid for one year from date signed.

All events will have adult supervision. If you would like to volunteer
to help at any events or have any questions, please contact Abbey
Flaherty at 224-1653.
