Well, Deb, I can't say that each didn't pay their own way (as was done when they went (dozens) to the Islenos homeland, Canary Islands. 

But, if they brought 4 or a few more, did the same accommodations in place for each to pay their own? Perhaps Gidget McDougall can fill in the answer.


Btw, I was there in November and didn't see them strollin' <G>>.  However, if individuals did not pay the tab and a "group-hug" was held and paid for by da parish, there's more questions to be answered. Still I can't believe it's true, yet.

One member of the St. Bernard Parish Tourist Commission says to another..."hey, I have a great idea on how we can go to Disney World on the taxpayer's tab.  How's that? the other responds.  Easy, we'll say we're going as part of the Louisiana exhibit at the Epcot Wine and Food Festival and we're trying to route visitors to travel to St. Bernard parish as they leave Disney World."

Sure, I think taxpayers will buy that as money well spent.  Oh, and the Epcot Wine and Food Festival ended October 31, 2008.  Strange we're only hearing about this now some 10 weeks after.
