"A Chalmette man has been arrested for selling Oxycodone pills from his
house. More than $3,000 worth of pills were found in the home, authorities
said. Two other men were also arrested in connection with the case.--TP"

Jer Responds: This is certainly one of the negatives surrounding the
recovery we need without the "benefit" of drugs, crime, and other egregious
missteps by those who may have been human beings at some point in their
cherished careers.

We suppose if they had their own TV show, they would call the show,
"Friends". <smile>

Friends like this give da parish a bad reputation in light of those who want
to "clean up" their communities from da bit%h, Katrina. I'm also feeling
some degree of guilt from an incident that happened to me the other day.
While shopping at a Walgreens the other day, my wife mentioned an incident
which she witnessed. She told me she observed a late-model expensive
Chrysler pull up next to her, and a Caucasian woman exited. At about a
minute later, she was observed greeting a Negroid man pulling up on his
bicycle. They both walked around the store's corner right before I exited
the store and walked to my vehicle.

I was infuriated knowing something was up in this deal (suspecting drugs,
etc.). I thought for a moment when she told me what she witnessed. I had the
opportunity to call the police, but considered involving here in the ordeal.
I drove away, still thinking I could still make the call on the way back or
when I returned home. I never did.

Something went down. I believe it was my morality that taught me to be a
citizen and help the community and law with my support. I regret it that I
had that choice with opportunity and failed to do what I advise others they
should do.

Sorry.
