[StBernard] Clarification of Obama's blasting of executive bonuses

By now I'm sure most of you caught something in the news recently where
Obama pounded "Wall Street" executives for all the billions of dollars they
got in year-end bonuses. But has anyone stopped to check if all those "Wall
Street" companies Obama called "shameful" were actually the companies that
got funds from the the "bail out" stimulus?

As it turns out..they're not! Well, a few of them were, but not 95% of
them. After I googled around and did a little homework, it turns out that
only a very few financial companies who were in the receiving line of the
bail-out money gave out bonuses. And even then much of those bonuses went
to middle management and everyday employees - people who actually earned
them - and NOT all the top executives.

Then you have the remaining 95% of the big Wall Street financial firms who
did NOT take any money from the bail out program and - here comes the big
bomb - actually made a profit in 2008. Holy crap! So, did Obama chew out a
bunch of companies who used their own PROFITS the way their shareholders saw
fit? Is President "Walk on Water" trying to tell companies who are run
successfully and do not take taxpayer hand-outs how they should spend their
own money?

Maybe next time Obama's staff will first do a little research - as I did -
before he opens his big, fat socialist mouth!
