its understandable that we would want the sales taxes for these products and
to fund extra SBSO and SBFD during that time.

if we are going to allow them, we may want to rethink the language and the
distance allowed.  are we saying 1000 feet is a safe distance from gas
stations, churches, public schools?  was that footage based on fire codes or
some other standard?
