To your first point I have no idea why this item doesn't show up on the
White House website. You would have to take that point up with the President
or his staff.  I don't manage the website.

As to the second all I was doing was providing a link to prove that the item
in question did exist.  I didn't post the original item and I do believe
that the "news" story has overblown the issue.  However, you know as well as
I that legislative bodies write bills, etc. in such a way that makes their
ultimate reach hard to understand.  I don't see anything in it that leads me
to the conclusion that the author of the story came to...but the government
has been known to read things a little differently than me from time to time
so who knows what they could come up with from this language.  All I was
doing by posting this was showing that the item referred to in the original
story is real.

Two things....first, then why isn't this showing up on the list of
Presidential Actions at the White House website?  Since this date Obama has
signed several Executive Orders and Memorandum that are on the list.

Second:  I don't see any language in the link you provided that said
anything about transporting anyone in Gaza over here to the United States.
There is the existing account fund for emergency assistance for Refugee and
Migration needs which U.S. presidents often issue aid from...but nothing in
the language Obama signed that said anything about giving them a free
airplane ticket and settlement here in the U.S.

Over the weekend I spoke with someone I know in David Vitter's office.  He
said they were knowledgeable of this issuing of aid to Gaza but have heard
nothing about what that supposed news story goes into.  But, he said they
will make another inquiry to the White House.
