would like more information

was there not a recent post here or on nola.com about Our Lady of Lourdes
Church re-opening in August 2009?

St Bernard Catholic Parish is very historic not only to St Bernard Civil
Parish but to Louisiana.
just cant imagine people being able to drive that far west to attend mass,
CCD, or otherwise be an active parishioner. Doesnt seem to meet the needs
of our area during a time of recovery from disaster. Just my opinion. SJK
