CHASTANT Joseph J. Chastant, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2009
at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Gladys Badeaux Chastant. Father of
Joseph J. Chastant, Jr., Kathy C. Waguespack and her former husband Mike,
Dee C. Montalbano and her husband Jeff. Son of the late Alma Rieffel
Chastant and Urban Jacob Chastant, Sr. Brother of Carl A. Chastant, Sr. and
the late Urban J. Chastant, Jr. Grandfather of Mindy and Eric Waguespack,
Braden, Brandon and Bryce Montalbano. Great-grandfather of Adisyn Torres.
And a special thanks to his home healthcare nurse, Dayna. Relatives,
co-workers at SELA Water Board and friends of the family are invited to
attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the
Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA
70433 with visitation on Monday beginning at 9:00 AM until service time. In
lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Jude Children's
