Murphy says La. FCC unit has brief upset

NEW YORK, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Murphy Oil said the 37,000-barrel-per-day fluid
catalytic cracking unit at its 125,000 bpd refinery in Meraux, Louisiana,
was in restart after a brief upset on Wednesday.

The boiler to the unit lost steam but there was no damage to the unit.

Separately, the company said that planned maintenance on the crude unit
began yesterday and is expected up shortly. (Reporting by Janet McGurty)
