Action Alert:
'Trial Lawyer Stimulus' Hidden in Huge Spending Bill

<http://click.ilrmail.org/t/309554/33968227/2803/0/> The trial lawyers are trying to sneak yet another "lawsuit stimulus" provision through Congress.

<http://click.ilrmail.org/t/309554/33968227/2803/0/> This time -- it's a dangerous provision that would "federalize" state Attorneys General to bring a flood of lawsuits in order to enforce federal mortgage lending laws.

Bottom line: this bill provides a "stimulus" for America's trial lawyer industry -- at the expense of American employers.

Click here to email your Senator to tell them to revise or modify this provision in the "Omnibus" spending bill <http://click.ilrmail.org/t/309554/33968227/2803/0/> .

If we "federalize" the state AGs -- they will, in turn, "deputize" private contingency-fee trial lawyers to file the lawsuits with the backing of the state.

This allows trial lawyers get rich on cash settlements...but leaves American employers footing the bill.

Is that really the type of "stimulus" our economy needs right now?

Email your Senators today to urge them to oppose or modify this provision in the "Omnibus" spending bill <http://click.ilrmail.org/t/309554/33968227/2803/0/> .
