ANNOUNCES ITS FIRST "SUNDAY IN THE PARK"

CONCERT FOR 2009

 

 

St. Bernard Parish Government announces the first of four "Sunday in the
Park" Concerts for 2009.  The first concert will be held on Sunday, April
5th from 3:30 to 6 p.m. featuring the band "At Fault," which plays a variety
of popular music.  The concert will be held at the Sidney Torres Park
Amphitheater, located behind the St. Bernard Civic Auditorium, 8245 E. Judge
Perez Drive, Chalmette, Louisiana.  

 

The public is invited to come and enjoy the free concert and beautiful
spring time weather in Torres Park.

 

The "Sunday in the Park" Concert Series is sponsored by St. Bernard Parish
Government supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts,
Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and
Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered
by the St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs.
