"Recent weeks have demonstrated the dangers of increased government
intervention into private matters. Now the Obama administration wants the
federal government to meddle in perhaps an even more disturbing matter:
personal conscience. -- Edwin J. Feulner, Ph.D."

Jer responds:

"When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to
dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to
assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to
which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect
to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes
which impel them to the separation . . "

... sounds radical huh? Nope, it's not my quote this time, but is Thomas
Jefferson (Declaration of Independence epilogue).

Conservative People of injustices know when liberties are grievously
tampered. They recognize it from inception to conclusion. When governments
(local, state or federal) interfere with a citizen, it deprives him/her of
more than liberty. It taints the conscience and disturbs the right of the
individual to make conscious, personal and private decisions on/for his/own
sake.

As socialism evolves in America, you can bet you'll hear more about our
rights overtaken by government actions.

everything he/she wants to do. However, when Thomas Paine concepts (Common

liberties are infringed upon, America will have no conscience from which to
