As your constituent, I write today regarding my NON-support for President
Obama's nominee for the Office of Legal Counsel, Dawn Johnsen.

President Obama has no right to appoint his staff as he sees fit - Dawn
Johnsen is eminently NON-qualified to serve as one of his attorneys, and the
fact that you may not agree with some of her opinions is a perfectly good
enough reason to deny her a straight up or down vote.

I understand that various organizations are pushing you to filibuster Ms.
Johnsen's nomination. As your constituent, I'm asking you to do the right
thing: DON'T allow a floor vote on Ms. Johnsen's nomination. Make your
decision based on the merits of her qualifications, which are none.

Thank you for your consideration of this important issue.
