As we reach the one-year mark before the 2010 Census on April 1, 2010, we
have an opportunity to hear first hand from the Dallas Regional Census
Office Director about census operations in Louisiana and learn about the
2010 "post card" census form.

Louisiana Population Projections to 2030 and Louisiana Population Trends:
Dr. Troy Blanchard, Louisiana State University.

American Community Survey Overview and Explanation: Paula Wright, Dallas
Regional Office. Learn what information users need to know about using the
new continuous American Community Survey which is replacing the long-form
decennial sample questionnaire, the source for detailed social and economic
information. This is a chance to get information and guidance on the 1-year
and 3-year data products, including guidance on using multiyear estimates.
