Man sought for aggravated burglary in St. Bernard Parish

St. Bernard Parish authorities have issued a warrant for a man accused of
breaking into a Chalmette home and struggling with the owner last month.

Juan Carlos Pena Interiano, 31, of Arabi, is wanted for aggravated burglary
in the April incident, the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office said.

Interiano, whose last known address was 7632 Patricia St., broke into a
house April 19. He was confronted by the homeowner and during a struggle
Interiano was struck in the head, authorities said. The intruder fled.

The sheriff's office news release did not specify how investigators
determined that Interiano is a suspect in the case. 

Interiano is also wanted on a warrant for domestic violence, the sheriff's
office said.
