event

Inspired by the book, "How to Eat Fried Worms," Alison Gros, a special
education teacher from Andrew Jackson Elementary, promised to eat a worm for
each of her students that passed the LEAP test this year. Ms. Gros went a
step further and for each student that scored an advance, she would eat
five.

Ms. Gros contacted Audubon Insectarium to help fulfill her promise to her
students for all their hard work this school year. She is going to eat one
worm for each student whether they passed the LEAP or not and five for the
one advance score.

Ms. Gros' students will literally make her eat her words in Bug Appetit at
Audubon Insectarium on Monday May 25th, 2009 at 11 a.m. Audubon Insectarium,
423 Canal Street, inside the U.S. Custom House.
