'Marine Curfew' Lifted Temporarily For St. Claude Ave. Bridge, Lane Closures
Scheduled June 8 - 9

New Orleans-Repairs to the St. Claude Avenue Bridge were successful over the
weekend. However, bridge closures led to a backlog of vessel traffic waiting
to transit the Inner Harbor Navigation Canal Lock. To alleviate the vessel
backlog, "marine curfews" regularly scheduled daily between 6:30 a.m. and
8:30 a.m. and between 3:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. were suspended for today, June
1 and June 2.

In addition, roadway grating repairs have been scheduled for Monday, June
8th and Tuesday, June 9th, which will result in single vehicle lane closures
on the Bridge in each direction between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on both days.
