Chalmette man booked with computer-aided solicitation of a minor

A Chalmette man has been arrested on two counts of computer-aided
solicitation of a minor for sexual acts, authorities said.

Wilford Hill III, 46, 2700 Plaza Drive, was also booked Tuesday with two
counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and pornography involving
juveniles, the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office said. 

Hill's arrest was the result of a joint operation involving the sheriff's
office, the Attorney General's office and the office of U.S. Immigration,
Customs and Enforcement. 

Hill allegedly used a computer to solicit minors for sex acts, as well as
download child porn, authorities said. Authorities seized a computer and CDs
from him. 

Hill remained in St. Bernard Parish Prison in lieu of $75,000 bond,
authorities said Wednesday.
