4th Annual Academy Sports & Outdoors Big Easy Redfish Cup being planned for
July 31 to Aug. 2 at the Gulf Outlet Marina in Chalmette
 
The 2009 organizing committee recently met to begin planning for the 4th
Annual Academy Sports & Outdoors Big Easy Redfish Cup. The event will be
held at the Gulf Outlet Marina in Chalmette from July 31st to August 2nd,
2009. The public is invited to the "Tailgate Party" featuring, Splash Dogs,
live music, local food, sports vendors, children's activities, pirogue races
and daily weigh-ins of the fishing pros each day at 3 p.m. with ESPN2
cameras.
