Four men wanted for trying to rob St. Bernard diner

ST. BERNARD, La. - Sheriffs deputies in St. Bernard Parish are searching for
armed robbery suspects that held up a diner, according to Sheriff's Office
spokesman Steve Cannizaro. 

Four men, according to Cannizaro, walked into the Gold Star Diner in the
1100 block of Bayou Road, near Poydras, and tied up at least one customer
and two employees, then forced an employee to open a safe. 

At least two of the men were armed, Cannizaro said. 

Though the employee was forced to open a safe, police don't believe that the
men got away with any money. 

Police are looking for a 2006 white Dodge Durango with the Texas license
plate TFR 014.
