Two-alarm fire sparks at Chalmette home

ST. BERNARD, La. - A two-alarm fire sparked early Thursday morning inside a
Chalmette home. 

The fire started around 4 a.m. in the 2200 block of Marietta Street in
Chalmette. 

Fire officials said that a family was inside the home when the fire started,
though no injuries were reported. 

The fire quickly spread to two alarms, before firefighters were able to
bring the blaze under control. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
