Chalmette Ferry to close Friday, July 31 at 6 p.m. for emergency repairs

The Chalmette Ferry in St. Bernard Parish will be shut down Friday, July 31
at 6 p.m. until further notice for emergency ramp repairs, according to the
state Department of Transportation and Development.
