18-year-old woman sought in killing of Algiers man

NEW ORLEANS - An 18-year-old woman is being sought in connection with the
shooting death of a man in an Algiers home last week. 

According to an NOPD spokesman, 18-year-old Chelsea S. Croft, whose last
known address was in Chalmette, has been identified as one of the suspects
in the slaying. 


Police said that early last Tuesday, two suspects got into the home in the
3200 block of Kabel Drive and shot the victim while two children were
inside. 


The victim was found lying in his back yard with a gunshot wound to the
chest.   


An arrest warrant has been issued for Croft on First Degree Murder and
Aggravated Battery charges.
