Murphy Oil Corp.'s Meraux refinery operating at normal rates

Murphy Oil Corp. said its Meraux refinery is operating at normal rates after
the return of a platformer. 

"The repairs have been made and the plant is running at normal rates," Dory
Stiles, a company spokesman, said in an e-mail. The unit was shut down Aug.
17 for planned work. 

The plant also started up a crude unit earlier this week following a brief
outage, according to the spokesman. 

The refinery has a capacity of 125,000 barrels a day
