That's really nice, but I'm ticked that the Golden Band from Tiger Land
won't be going to any away games due to budget constraints.  

The full 300+ member band will be at the games at LSU, but for away games
(even the SEC ones) they will only be taking a "spirit" band or something of
around 100 members.

The music dept is still trying to build a new band bldg since they've
outgrown the one built in the 50s and thanks to some money from the lege or
the school and from the athletic foundation they are close, but still a few
million $s short.

I know it's expensive as hell to transport 325 band members and staff, but
the LSU band sure makes a great impression when they're seen on tv.
