Jer Responds:

Now that the national government's kiln is fired up, a foundation has been
set in motion to discriminate against all people of St. Bernard. It starts
with the "N'awlins Katrina 'mafia'" and escalates to all sympathizers of
federalism in a state/local dispute where there is a chilling effect taking
place.

An irony to this is that the good things taking place with an organization
with its name called, "The St. Bernard Project" has some sort an eerie
prophesy to what has happened away from that great effort. Not that they are
related, but that the name echoes the strangeness of what just happened with
the Judge Helen ruling: The multifamily homes and St. Bernard Project share
a weirdness in nomenclature. The word "Projects" have commonly been coined
to signify what will happen in St. Bernard in the near future. "Hi-rises" of
project-looking, activity and chaos evolving as multiplexed apartments which
most certainly will litter the landscapes in St. Bernard. We all know this.
We can sense its presence, both in the past and what continues to evolve
today. We realize the future of such apartments being built around St.
Bernard neighborhoods--the effort to bring about its demise.

Many of us can remember when (at least I can) the New Orleans apartments,
its project apartments, Village Sq. and others were state of the art housing
for people newlywed, getting on their feet or needing a place to lay one's
head while financially down. People were as poor back then as they are now,
believe me and if we include the Great Depression of the 30's, much worse by
comparison than today. The big difference is not only federal government's
interference into telling everyone what it needs, but the breakdown of
families and a belief system in a common God/Maker to them.

See the irony here. The actual battle could easily been labeled: Providents
vs. Providence. God won't win here (not that He cannot) because Satan owns
this earthly realm. Eventually, GOD most assuredly will stomp those at a
later time of HIS choosing. Never fear.

It's the beginning of the end, I believe. Listen: First comes the wind, then
the rain and finally, the storm--with its devestation.

No, I'm not referring to Katrina or some future hurricane event. I'm
referring to this Federal kidnapping of local communities and its evolution
into socialism. This is one which oversees local and state's rights--in
favor of a federal mandate to force-feed litter and garbage down St. Bernard
Parish and its citizen's throats.

Now personal decisions need to be made because this freedom has been
breached in favor of "out-of-towners" (the N'awlins crowd and in time,
Acorn, telling locals to $h*t or get off the pot (stay and enjoy the company
or leave and we're be the new caretakers of your wonderful communities.
Hitler did this as its neighboring countries were forced or appeased him
without argument. A sort of grabbing what it wants outside its borders. We
all knew that someday, somehow, the long arm of the federal law would use
its octopus tentacles to snatch anything near it. We all knew this.
