	 If I'm not mistaken, the New Orleans East initiative was for single
family or doubles for low income families not complexes.  The nearby high
end african american community put the stop to it.
	 
	In a previous post, someone asked about the property owners in St.
Bernard selling and or going along with Poitevent,  it's Meraux Foundation
on some of the land. What else needs to be said.
