ABOUT FEMA'S RESPONSE AFTER HURRICANE KATRINA

Congressional leaders take FEMA leaders to task for bureaucratic delays

 

St. Bernard Parish President Craig P. Taffaro Jr. and Louisiana Recovery
Authority Executive Director Paul Rainwater are testifying before the U.S.
House of Representatives Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public
Buildings and Emergency Management. The testimony that started Tuesday,
September 29, 2009, at 2 p.m. and is scheduled to last about 3 hours. 

 

The subcommittee is chaired by Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, District
of Columbia, and Congressman Joseph Cao from New Orleans sits on the
committee as well.
