If you're going to boycott Starbucks because you don't like their corporate
giving policy, that's fine. It seems, though, you've taken something that's
patently false and twisted your opinion to support it. Wright has repeatedly
stated that he wasn't the one who solicited Starbucks, but heard it from a
friend of a friend. The company has denied ever receiving such a request.
Who's to say this wasn't cooked up by a competitor of Starbucks as a way to
damage the company's reputation?  
Starbucks has been the target of several of these email hoaxes (they closed
all of their stores in Israel, one of their posters was designed to resemble
the Twin Towers). I'm not a particular fan of Starbucks, but I think it's
irresponsible to pass these things on without making any attempt to verify
them.
