This is absurd...what a bunch of "Pelosi!"

Does anyone remember Pelosi and the rest of the Demwits Party leaders
standing around the podium nearly three years ago with the sign in front
that read "A New Direction for America?"  That was their theme.

Having long-time experience in political campaigns doing PR, I have the
perfect commercial for the Republicans to create.  Have the camera focus on
the Congressional podium (at about mid height) with the "New Direction for
America" sign on it.  As the camera begins to slowly move in on the podium,
the narrator mentions this sign's promise the Democrats made to all
Americans; mentions all the absurd spending bills and debt the Democrats
have put this nation in, even against the will of the people from one public
opinion poll after the next; it mentions how one liberal extremist bill
after the next was jammed down the throats of Americans even though the
people were loud and clear they didn't want it; mentions the absurd debt
we're in and destruction of our economy because of it.  And then the
narrator says, "And did all this liberal and reckless spending by Obama and
the Democrats get America moving in a new direction?"  At that moment the
sign falls off the front of the podium, the camera pans down to find it,
what comes into the picture is a toilet at the bottom of the podium with the
sign fallen into it.  "It sure did" says the narrator.  The commercial close
with the narrator saying "Vote Republican, vote for a return to common
sense."

If this commerical doesn't close the deal on winning back seats for the GOP,
I don't know what will.
