Battle of New Orleans Celebration   Jan 8 & 9 2010
The Battle of New Orleans Celebration will take place on Friday, January 8th
& Saturday, January 9th, 2010 at the Chalmette Battlefield. Jan. 8th:
8:30-3:30 - living history encampment, cannon & musket firing, military
drills, and campfire cooking. 10:00 a.m. - wreath-laying ceremony. 7:00 p.m.
reenactment of the night battle. Jan. 9th: 9:00 - 3:30 living history
encampment, cannon & musket firing, military drills, and campfire cooking.
5:45 p.m. 1st Lantern Tour of the battlefield campus; 8:45 p.m. last tour
ends. 

Knights of Nemesis Parade  Feb 6 2010
On Saturday, February 6, 2010, the Knights of Nemesis will hold it's parade
beginning at 4:30 p.m. For information contact Billy Showalter at 583-3998

Gladiator's Parade   Feb 16 2010
On Mardi Gras Day, the Krew of Gladiators will hold their parade, starting
at 10:00 a.m. at the Parish Complex. The parade will go to Rowley Blvd. in
Arabi, turn and go down to Palmisano Blvd. and back to the Parish Complex.
There will be a party in Torres Park after the parade which will be open to
the public. 

Irish, Italian, Islenos Parade  Mar 7 2010
The Irish, Italian, Islenos Parade will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2010.
The marchers will start at 11:00 a.m. and the parade will begin at 12:00.

Islenos Fiesta   Mar 20 & 21 2010
The Los Islenos will hold their Fiesta on Saturday, March 20th from 12 noon
to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 21, 2010, from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. The
Fiesta will be held at the Islenos Museum Complex on Bayou Road.

Crawfish Festival/Redfish Cup   Mar 25-28 2010
The Crawfish Festival will be held on Thursday, March 25, Friday, March 26,
Saturday, March 27, and Sunday, March 28, 2010; games, rides,music, food,
fun for all.

Art in April Festival   Apr 17 2010
The Art in April Festival will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010. The
event will take place on the grounds of the St. Bernard Parish Courthouse.

Tomato Festival   Apr 30 - May 2 2010
The 59th Annual Tomato Festival will be held on the grounds of Our Lady of
Prompt Succor School on Friday, April 30, 6:00 p.m. - midnight; Saturday,
May 1, 11:30 a.m. - midnight, and Sunday, May 2, 2010, 11:30 - 11:00 p.m.

Sugar Festival   May 15 2010
The Old Arabi Neighborhood Association will sponsor the 2nd annual Sugar
Festival on Saturday, May 15, 2010  at LeBeau Plantation Grounds in Arabi.
