As you have read and heard in all the news, Haiti was hit by a major
earthquake yesterday. My good friend and publisher/editor of Street Magic
magazine and creator of magic tricks such as “The Dracula Book Test”, James
Clark, is going to be one of the First Responders who will provide search
and rescue assistance in Haiti. James is perfectly suited for this mission
but he could use some financial support. If you are not familiar with who he
is or his background, then take a look at this link:
http://www.youtube.com/jameslclarkdotcom#p/u/12/6VqvLXVOEyY That will
explain it all. Please take the time to watch this and learn what he does
and how his assistance can be invaluable at the right place at the right
time.

If you want to do something and make a difference in someone’s life but you
don’t know how, then here is your opportunity. He is looking for financial
assistance to help defray his expenses. He says that any amount will help
even if it is only a dollar. He is going one way or the other full well
expecting to pay all expenses out of his own pocket. But if you can assist
him in any way, then all donations will be graciously accepted. He can take
credit cards or PayPal with funds sent to his account at:
paypal at jameslclark.com  If you send money this way, then please be sure to
include a note that “the funds are for Haiti”.  You can also learn more or
link to donations through his website at: http://www.jameslclark.com/

He will also greatly appreciate if you can also pass on this request to
others on your e-mail lists, Facebook and Twitter accounts. James plans to
in Houston within the next 24 hours to get his visa for passage to Haiti so
your support will be appreciated whenever you can provide it
either now or
later.

The Houston area magicians will have our annual holiday party at the home of
Gene and Betty Protas this coming Sunday night, January 17th. More
information and directions are at: www.HoustonMagic.com We will accept
donations there at the party that will be sent to James.

Regardless of whatever you can send, if anything, your prayers and good
thoughts will also be greatly appreciated and needed not only for him but
also for the people of Haiti during this particularly difficult time.

Thank you for your attention and concern and support.

Sincerely,
Scott
