1. They voted to not give you a S.S. Cost of living raise in 2010 and
2011.

Not true. The cola is based upon either the c.p.i. or something similar.
There was no inflation in the cost of living, therefore **by law**, Social
Security did not have a cost-of-living adjustment. I have the entire letter
from S.S. to my mother if you want all the boilerplate added in. Now what
caused the numbers to show there was no inflation or whatever? The rapid
decrease last year in the price of gasoline/oil.

2. Your Medicare premiums will go up for the 2-years and
You will not get the 3% COLA: $660/yr. Your total 2-yr loss and cost is
-$1,600 or -$3,200 for husband and wife.

Again not true. In the same letter it said her medicare premium would
**not** go up since there was no cola this year. The exception to this is
if you were in a higher-income bracket wherein part of your Soc. Sec.
becomes taxable.

Please folks, there's enough *true* stuff out there to get worked up over,
so spreading a bunch of untrue stuff is not needed.
