Sorry, C.B., I see just the other way around. So, I'll ask the obvious
question: Indianapolis ALREADY HAS the Super Bowl in two years...so exaclty
what is it Daniels is having to promote???? The entire world will be
heading to Indy in 2012 anyway, so exactly what is it he thinks he can do
that will draw any more people????

Sounds like Governor Daniels conjured up a bullshit plan to get a free trip
to Miami to attend the Super Bowl for him, his family, countless people
affiliated with the Indiana Economic Development Corp., their family
members, and throw a big, lavish party - all at the expense of Indiana
taxpayers. And for what? To promote something they already did a couple of
years ago to initially get the 2012 Super Bowl.

I prefer the way Jindal did it. Go in, see specifically who you need to
see, then get out. Besides C.B., are you implying the Govenor Jindal should
throw lavish, expensive Super Bowl parties every year between now and when
New Orleans gets the Super Bowl back?

I hate to sound like Lynn Dean, but he's right, he right. What a big,
friggin waste of taxpayers money all for the benefit and pleasure of a few
political elites.

The "Roads Scholar" has once again proven the old saying that even the worst
of us can serve a good purpose. We can serve as a bad example.

The governor of Indiana will be in Miami for the Super Bowl.

According to the Associated Press here is what the Republican governor of
Indiana will be doing while he is in Miami:

[Governor of Indiana Mitch Daniels] will arrive in the Miami area on Friday
afternoon. His schedule includes some economic development meetings and a
meeting with members of the Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee.
Indianapolis will host the Super Bowl in 2012.

Daniels will host about 300 people at an Indiana Economic Development Corp.
event Saturday at a venue in the Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami.

Compare and contrast

Compare the above to the "Roads Scholar's" schedule. Bobby will fly into
Miami on Sunday to attend a fundraising brunch for himself, supposedly
attend the Super Bowl and jump on his secretly provided private airplane to
return to Baton Rouge on Sunday night.

Indy's governor is taking advantage of this huge gathering of high-powered
individuals to promote his state. Bobby is taking advantage of this
gathering of high-powered individuals to stuff their money into his pockets.

Which person would you prefer to have as governor?
