First off...WHO DAT say dey gonna beat them Saints? . . .NOBODY!!! The
question is finally answered.

I don't know if anyone caught the post-game interview on the field with Sean
Payton and Drew Brees with the NFL Network crew, but when the question and
comment came up about "how amazing it was to see both of them sitting there
with the Lombardi Trophy in front them in lieu of what happended to the city
of New Orleans due to Katrina"....Drew Brees' response is worth a second
take. He said "Our city deserves it."

Note, he could have easily put his phrase in the impersonal, non-possessive"
tense and said "the" city and no one would have probably had a problem with
that...but that's not how he phrased it. He specifically said "Our" city.

That's the kind of class Drew Brees is, realizing what this historical
victory represented and how he perceives his role being only a part in its
elation. It's a victory for everyone in New Orleans and who has ties to
"our" city - not just the team.

There are many events through history where someone says the moment was
marked by their memory of where they were when it happened. To the Who Dat
Nation and Saints fans everywhere - remember where you were, who you were
with and how you felt as you watched the Sun Life Stadium game clock tick
down to zero. Cherish it always and never forget.
