CCC extends Gretna ferry service on Tuesday for New Orleans Saints parade

Service hours for the Gretna-Canal Street ferry have been extended Tuesday
in anticipation of the large crowds attending the New Orleans Saints Super
Bowl parade.

The Gretna ferry will begin service at 1:30 p.m. at Gretna and at 2 p.m. at
Canal Street. The last trip of the day will leave from Gretna at 11:30 p.m.
and at midnight from Canal Street.

Meanwhile, service from Algiers Point will begin at its 6 a.m. scheduled
time. It will leave Canal Street 15 minutes later. The last trips of the day
will be at midnight from Algiers Point and 12:15 a.m. from Canal Street.

The lower Algiers-Chalmette ferry will begin service at 6 a.m. from Algiers.
It will leave Chalmette 15 minutes later. The final trips of the day will be
8:30 p.m. from lower Algiers and 8:45 p.m. from Chalmette.
