John, politicians never fair to get into a "photo-op" situation which has
them giving elaborate speeches (all the way to the bank, perhaps).
Especially this one which was nationally and locally broadcasted. Wasn't it
ironic than some of the main culprits we submitted to memory driving around
in the military vehicle during Katrina were shouting to the rooftops about
how they loved the Saints, the City, etc. with their own pep rally (to the
promotion of their future elections). Sort of funny that Mary Landrieu's kid
brother (the mayor-elect), Mitchie, didn't want to steal good old
"Chocolate-City" himself, "Ray-Gun Nagin". 

Even saw parish presidents (included Craig) laughing to the beat of Saints
Thunder.
