Isleno Culture Topic of Nunez Community College History Lecture Series on
March 1st 

 

A subject near and dear to the hearts of most St. Bernardians is the topic
of the next History Lecture Series at Nunez Community College.  Dorothy L.
Benge, Los Islenos Society president, will discuss "Preserving the Isleno
Culture: What the Islenos Have done to Preserve their Heritage."  

 

The lecture is Monday, March 1st at 7 p.m. in the Nunez Auditorium and is
preceded by a wine and cheese reception starting at 6:30 p.m.

This is the eighth season of the Nunez History Lecture Series, a series of
free lectures held at the college created to provide a cultural opportunity,
to explore the rich 

heritage of the area. The lecture is free and open to the general public.
