Fuel hosts Middle School Sock Hop

Sock hop to be hosted at the Fuel Youth Center on March 6th

 

On March 6th, Fuel, the youth program created by St. Bernard Parish
President Craig P. Taffaro, will be hosting a Sock Hop for sixth through
eighth graders.  The Sock Hop will be hosted at the Fuel Youth Center, also
known as Paul Noel gym, at 210 E. Moreau St. in Chalmette.  The building is
located behind the St. Bernard School Board Office.  

 

The event will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 6th.  Music will
be provided by deejays Lowell Horne and Gene Nicosia.  An entry fee of $5 is
required and concessions will be available for purchase.  All proceeds go
directly back to the Fuel Youth Program.  Chaperones are provided.

 

In order to enter, each student must submit a signed waiver form by their
legal parent/guardian.  Waivers can be found online at www.sbpg.net
<http://www.sbpg.net/>  under the Recreation Department or at the
registration table.  Waivers are valid for one year from the date they are
signed.  Students will not be admitted entrance without a waiver.  

 

All events will have adult supervision.  If you would like to volunteer to
