Ok, this one is true.

If you are using Windows XP or older, do not press the F1 key while browsing
the Internet using Internet Explorer.

Chances are, only the help screen will came up, but now that it has
published that it is a security hole, you can expect someone to be writing a
website that will try to trick you into pressing the F1 key so they can take
over your machine.

Most people really don't need "help" in Internet Explorer, so it shouldn't
affect you too much, but be safe and don't press it.
