Delacroix, LA - The Cabela's Redfish Series powered by Majek Boats and
Evinrude will hold its first Louisiana Redfish Tournament on Saturday, April
10 at Sweetwater Marina and Lodge in Delacroix, LA. The tour will be back
in Louisiana for the second stop on June 26 in Lake Charles,. The Redfish
Series will host seven premier fishing tournaments across the Gulf Coast in
2010, with a potential purse of more than $400,000 in boats and prize money.
Teams who fish at least two stops of the tour qualify to fish the two-day
Championship.

The series, which has been sold-out the last three years, added
two stops in Louisiana this year to give more anglers a chance to get in on
the fun and excitement. There are still plenty of spots left for the
Louisiana stops of the tour. "We've created a fun, competitive tournament
circuit that's affordable for the weekend fisherman," said Scot Simmons who
is one of the founders. "The format is one-day and the local stops make it
feasible for any angler to make the tournaments without investing a lot of
time and money."

Format for the tournament includes a one-day event with a live
weigh-in of two redfish and teams may use artificial lures only. The entry
fee per team is set at $400.00 and one-in-five teams will earn prize money.
Teams may fish as many tournaments as they would like. The winning team
will be awarded a brand new Majek Boat powered by an Evinrude ETEC valued at
over $20,000.00.

The Cabela's Redfish Series makes an even field for the
anglers," said Jim Elrod, co-owner. "Redfish are a slot-limit fish, which
means if someone can catch two redfish in a day, they can be competitive in
our tournaments. Anyone can bring home a new boat or a check, with the
right two fish."

The Cabela's Redfish Series is part of the Saltwater Series tournament
trail, the largest saltwater tournament trail in Texas for the past three
years. The Saltwater Series is produced by Simrod Outdoors, one of the
fastest growing production companies for saltwater fishing tournaments
targeting the every-day angler. Coverage of the tournaments will be
broadcast to 9.5 million subscribers on the Cabela's Saltwater Series
Fishing Show on FSN Southwest (Fox Sports Southwest). Viewers can tune in
Wednesday mornings at 6:00 AM to catch the action.
