A third person has been arrested in St. Bernard Parish, accused of pawning
stolen merchandise at a Chalmette pawnshop, authorities said.

A fourth man is being sought on burglary charges.

David Miller, 29, was booked Monday with possession of stolen property, the
St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office said.

Last week, the Sheriff's Office announced the arrests of Norman Bentley, 58,
of Arabi and Cheryl Vicknair, 29. Both were booked with possession of stolen
property.

Authorities said Vicknair and Miller, who are a couple, sometimes lived at
Bentley's home. The Sheriff's Office said Vicknair and Bentley pawned stolen
items on several occasions at a Chalmette pawnshop.

The Sheriff's Office also said it found stolen items inside Bentley's house.

A warrant for burglary was issued for Curtis Jones, 26, of New Orleans.

The Sheriff's Office said Jones burglarized a home in Bentley's neighborhood
in which an estimated $20,000 in jewelry was stolen.

Bentley said Monday that the charges against him are overblown.

He said the stolen items in his home were from Vicknair and that the only
items he pawned were a set of rings he had previously purchased from the
pawnshop. The Sheriff's Office said his name appears on seven receipts from
the pawnshop.
