June 9

Job Club started for job seekers or career changers

 

St. Bernard Business & Career Solutions Centers Reemployment Specialist will
be hosting workshops for resume writing, cover letters, and tips and
techniques to use before, during and after a job interview on Tuesday, May
18 at 2 p.m. and Wednesday June 9 at 9:30 a.m. on the second floor of the
St. Bernard Parish Government Complex at 8201 W. Judge Perez in Chalmette.

Come join the JOB CLUB!    The club is open to all who are job seekers or
career changers.  Participants share ideas, information, contacts and
strategies such as career planning, resume' writing, job search tips,
networking skills and much more.  The center will also have speakers from
other agencies and employers at some of the meetings.   There will be an
initial meeting on Thursday, May 13 at 9:30 a.m. in the upstairs conference
