Richard, I won't disagree with you there, but there has to be some who are
good - or still good.  Perhaps the more important question is...then whom do
we look to get the truth?  The criteria by which we should judge anyone we
look to trust can only be "credibilty."

That's why whether you agree with Glenn Beck or not - he has credibility -
which is based on being able to back up what you say with sources and
references that any person can easily find...and Beck does that.  If only
our media could do the same.

For the past couple of weeks Beck has been showing old clips of what he said
was coming - some of these clips go back two years.  He even shows clips of
how the so called "smart people" in government and in the media called him a
creator of fear and a kook.

Now, Beck is getting the last laugh.  Some of these very same people and
media organizations are parroting what he's been saying for months on end.
I don't know about you, but common sense says not only is that impressive,
but
that's "credibility."  And I sure as hell ain't seeing it in Obama or anyone
else in government.

Beck has recently been asking "where is our next George Washington, someone
with honor who wants to lead solely for the benefit of seeing equal justice
and constitutionalism perserved."  I ask "what's wrong with that?"  Does
that make Beck a dealer in snake oil because he genuinely wants to see an
honorable man come to the forefront of our nation to lead?  Sorry, but I
don't get it - the criticism.

I like Rush and Hannity, but neither of them go into the details and show
their evidence as Beck does - he's the only one out there actually
attempting to educate people.  And if Beck makes some bucks in the process -
great, more power to him.  As long as his message is backed with references
and remains genuine, I will keep listening to him - and I strongly suggest
we had better - because you're not going to hear it from the mainstream
media.

My opinion of Obama, Pelosi and Reid is identical to my opinion of Vitter,
Jindal and Mitch McConnell. They are career politicians whose main concern
is the preservation of their own power. The only difference is the masters
they serve.
 
I don't, though, ascribe any sort of sinister intent to any of them. I think
they all got into politics because they thought they could do some good.
They just got corrupted by power.
