[StBernard] State of Louisiana Releases BP Letter Regarding Sand Berm Funding

	The The State of Louisiana and BP signed the following letter
	regarding funding for approximately 40 miles of sand booms to help
prevent
	oil from reaching Louisiana's coastal wetlands.
	
	



Question. I thought that the coastal wet lands were dependent on tidal
movements to survive. Wouldn't putting up barriers cut off the very thing
that nurtures them and keps them healthy?
